Bianca Eichkorn, sophomore, Women’s Tennis Eichkorn collected 4 total wins in singles and doubles in matches against North Carolina and Duke this past week. Playing in the third singles slot, she came back from a set down against No. 30 Reka Zsilinszka of Duke to win in three sets. Eichkorn, who is now 15-3 in the spring and 30-6 during her sophomore year, is currently tied for 12th place all-time in the programs history for singles win in a season.

Mikese Morse, junior, Track and Field At the Hurricane Invitational last weekend, Morse placed first in the long jump with a mark of 7.62 meters. His mark passed the regional qualifying standard by almost a foot. Morse, who was recently honored as an All-American after his performance at the NCAA Indoor Championships, was named the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Performer of the Week.

David Rosenfeld, Senior, Men’s Tennis In consecutive 4-3 upsets over North Carolina and Duke on the road last week, Rosenfeld clinched team wins in both matches playing in the third singles slot. He also picked up a win in the first doubles slot over Duke with partner Daniel Vallverdu. Rosenfeld has stepped up big in the late part of the season, winning 4 out of his last 6 singles matches in the month of March.
