Ryan Jackson, Junior, Baseball Earlier this week in non-conference games against Saint Thomas and UMBC, Jackson went a combined 4-for-8 (.500) with 7 total RBI and 4 runs of his own. He hit his first 3 home runs of the season as well. Jackson’s efforts helped the No. 4 Hurricanes improve to 16-3 this season.

Julia Cohen, Sophomore, Women’s Tennis This past Wednesday, Cohen collected 2 wins in a sweep of Arkansas. She defeated No. 4 Aurelija Miseviciute in straight sets, her third win over a Top 5 opponent in the past 2 weeks. With the win, Cohen (20-4) became the third Hurricane to pass the 20-win mark this season.

Daniel Vallverdu, Senior, Men’s Tennis Vallverdu accumulated 3 total wins in singles and doubles against UCF and Kentucky this week. He and fellow senior David Rosenfeld collected 2 doubles wins, both in the No. 1 position, for the Hurricanes. Vallverdu, currently ranked at No. 29 in singles, stands at 9-4 on the year.
