Junior Outfielder Dave DiNatale Named Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

May 27, 2008 Coral Gables, FLA (www.hurricanesports.com) — – Junior outfielder Dave DiNatale has been named the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the period May 19-25. DiNatale was named the Most Valuable Player of the ACC Baseball Tournament held in Jacksonville from May 21-25. At the tournament, which the Hurricanes won with an 8-4 victory over Virginia on Sunday, May 25, DiNatale had four hits in 12 at-bats and drove in six rbi. Against Georgia Tech on Friday, he hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the 9th inning as the Hurricanes erased a 12-11 deficit to defeat the Yellow Jackets 15-12. |
