“It’s great to see how our program is evolving as one of the nation’s best again,” said fourth year head Miami coach Mario Rincon. “Beating two-top 12 teams back-to-back and reaching the ACC finals for the first time is a huge step for our program. Our guys played with a lot of poise and tenacity throughout the tournament, and represented us in the best possible way. Virginia is the team to beat this yer, and they played like the best in the country today.”
The Hurricanes will now begin preparation for the NCAA Championships. Team seedings will be announced on April 29 with the individual pairings announced the following day.
