In the swimming pool, UM had a pair of Top 15 finishers in the 100-yard breaststroke final in Magdalena Waszkiewicz and Kelly Peloquin. Waszkiewicz placed 10th overall and second in the “B” final with a time of 1:04.65 while Peloquin came in 14th at 105.29.

Britta Boesing came in 11th in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 56.40 and Ryann Labreche came in at 1:52.18 in the 200-yard freestyle event, placing seventh in the “C” final and 23rd overall.

In the lone relay event, Boesing, Waszkiewicz, Katie Eason and Annika Saarnak placed ninth in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:49.20.

Miami is currently in 10th place with 148 points.
