CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami swimming and diving team will be competing in its final scheduled home event of the season Saturday when it hosts Florida International University and Florida Gulf Coast University in a tri-meet at the Norman Whitten Student Union Pool at 11 a.m.
The Hurricanes (6-2) are coming off a convincing 184-74 win at Vanderbilt, Jan. 11, in which they won 11 of 12 individual events in addition to both relay events. Miami’s 200-yard medley and freestyle relay teams each won easily while four individual swimmers, Ryann Labreche, Kirsten Pomerleau, Britta Boesing and Kelly Peloquin all picked up two wins apiece to give UM its first win of the spring season.
