Letter From Director of Athletics Paul Dee

August 21, 2007

Dear Hurricanes Fan:

As you probably have heard, a decision has been made for the Hurricanes to move their home football games from the Orange Bowl Stadium to Dolphin Stadium expected to begin in 2008. This decision was extremely difficult for all involved.

We are pleased with the relationship we have enjoyed with the City of Miami at the Orange Bowl over the years. We have had great history there. We look forward to continuing our success and creating new history as we move to Dolphin Stadium. Dolphin Stadium will provide our student-athletes, our coaches, staff, friends and fans with an exciting new environment for Hurricanes Football. It is one of the great stadiums in the country and we are looking forward to making this historic adjustment.

How will the move affect you? We are dedicated to making the transition as easy as possible, but there will no doubt be some necessary adjustments. With respect to seating it will, of course, be necessary to reseat all of our fans. This process will be based on priority points within giving levels. The first levels to be reseated will be our Lifetime Living Scholars, our Living Scholars and the Golden Canes. Thereafter, all remaining Hurricane Club donors based on giving levels, followed by season ticket holders who are non-donors based on consecutive years of purchase will be reseated.

Within your level the priority will be based on your priority points. This point system was established in 2004 and is updated three times each year as you gain more points. Points are given for:

Contributions to the Hurricane Club Contributions to the endowment program Contributions to the BankUnited Center Contributions to the Sprint Campaign and other campaigns The number of consecutive seasons you have held season tickets The number of consecutive years you have been a member of the Hurricane Club Your alumni status at the University Your status as a former letter winner as a UM athlete

For a complete description of the Priority Point System please visit our website at www.hurricanesports.cstv.com/sports/hurricaneclub/priority-point-system.html.

You have previously been made aware of your giving level and priority points. Shortly you will be receiving a postcard which will give your current priority points. If you disagree or believe they should be updated please call the Hurricane Club at 305-284-6699.

This was not an easy decision. We regret moving away from our friends in the City of Miami, but we believe we have made the best decision.

Cordially,

PAUL T. DEE
Director of Intercollegiate Athletics
