Hurricanes Conclude Competition at US Track & Field Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – University of Miami junior Tim Harris and freshmen Cory Nelms and Les Bradley concluded competition Thursday at the 2007 U.S. Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at IUPUI’s Michael A. Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium.

Harris, competing in the 800-meter preliminaries of the senior division, finished with a time of 1:50.02 to place 29th overall.

Nelms ran the fourth fastest time (13.90) among all collegians in the 110-meter hurdle prelims of the junior division, but missed the finals by one hundredth of a second, finishing ninth overall.

Bradley, also competing in the 110-meter hurdles, finished 11th overall with a time of 14.00 seconds.
