Second Day of ACC Championships Complete for Hurricanes

<?xml:namespace prefix=”st1″ ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”?>University of Miami juniors Hagen Weintraub and Jessica Steward each fired a team-low 77 during Saturday’s second round of the 2007 ACC Women’s Golf Championships at Carmel Country Club in Charlotte, N.C.<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>
Weintraub, who now sits at 14-over-par (158) through 36 holes, and senior Tiffany Prats, who shot a 78 on Saturday, are currently tied for 30th place on the individual leader board heading into Sunday’s final round.
Collectively, Miami heads into the third round in eighth place with a two-round total 315.
