Audra Cohen Named Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

Junior Audra Cohen has been named the Muscle Milk UM Student-Athlete of the Week for the period October 30 to November 5.

Cohen, a Plantation, Fla. native, won the 2006 ITA Indoor Collegiate Championship in Columbus, Oh. this past Sunday defeating Fresno Pacific’s Jelena Pandzic 5-7, 6-4, 6-2. Ranked second by the ITA coming into the tournament, Cohen reached the finals of the national tournament by defeating Melanie Gloria of Fresno State 6-2, 6-2 last Saturday afternoon.

Cohen’s victory marked the second time in the past three years that the prestigious tournament has been won by a Hurricane. She joins Megan Bradley who was also the tournament winner in 2004.
