Women's Track Falls To No. 2 In Nation

Coral Gables, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami women’s track and field team dropped one spot to No. 2 in this week’s Trackwire 25 rankings release Monday night.
Miami, which was tied with Texas at No. 1 last week with 61 points, lost two points in this week’s rankings despite not competing due to finals.
The Hurricanes have had 15 student-athletes record 27 NCAA Regional qualifying marks in 16 different events this season. The NCAA East Regional will be held, May 26-27, in Greensboro, N.C. The NCAA Championships will be June 7-10 in Sacramento, Calif.
Miami returns to action, May 12-13, at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Ga.
