Lauryn Williams to Sign Autographs at Miami Elite Invitational

Coral Gables, Fla (Hurricanesports.com) – On Saturday April 15, former Hurricane standout Lauryn Williams will be signing autographs at the Miami Elite Invitational from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Williams is a two-time world champion, winning the 100 meters and was part of the winning 4×100 meter relay team at the 2005 World Championships. Williams has also won seven other international medals, most recently garnering silver in the 60 meters at the 2006 World Indoor Championships.

While at the University of Miami, William’s stellar career culminated in an NCAA Championship in the 100 meters in 2004. Williams is nine-time All-American, and holds school records in the 55, 60, 200 meters for indoor and 100 and 200 meters and part of the 4×100 meter for outdoor.
