NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship Begins Tomorrow

Coral Gables, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami men’s track and field team is sending Tim Harris to compete at the NCAA Indoor Championships March 10-11, held at the Tyson Indoor Track Complex in Fayetteville, Ark.<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>
Harris is coming off a victory at the ACC championships in the 800 meter run. He also set the school record in the event at the Boston University St. Valentine’s Invitational, running a 1:47.99 to qualify him for the NCAA Indoor Championships.
The 800 meter run is the first individual running event of the Indoor Championships and the preliminaries are slated to start at 4:30 pm on Friday Afternoon. The finals for the event will be at 6:35 pm on Saturday evening.
