(hurricanesports.com) – Three men’s track and field athletes earned all-ACC honors for their performances at the ACC Indoor Championships.  Tim Harris, Roland DaSilva, and Lance Leggett earned the distinction for the Hurricanes.

Harris, the school record holder in the 800 meters, won that event at the ACC Indoor Championships, finishing in 1:49.12, besting his nearest competitor by over a second.

DaSilva earned his distinction by placing third in the heptathlon scoring 5176, just 24 points of provisional NCAA qualifying.  The result is a team and season best for DaSilva.

Leggett, who finished second in the 60 Meter Hurdles, also earned all-ACC.  His time is an NCAA provisional qualifying mark.

Those three, along with Patrick O’Donnell, finished fifth in the 4×400 meter relay leading the Hurricanes to their highest finish in an ACC Conference meet.

The Hurricanes are next slated to compete in the NCAA Indoor Championships held March 10-11, in Fayetteville, Ark.
