Hurricanes to Compete at Gator Invitational on Sunday

<?xml:namespace prefix=”st1″ ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”?>Coral Gables, Fla. – The University of Miami Women’s Track and Field team is traveling to Gainesville, Fla. to compete in the Gator Invitational on Sunday February 5, 2006 in the Stephen O’Connell Center. Field events start at 11:00 am, while the running events begin at 10:15 am. <?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>

The Hurricanes competed last week in the Penn State National, where several athletes and the 4×400 meter relay made NCAA Provisional marks.  Tabia Charles won the triple jump for the second straight meet and the 4×400 meter was victorious as well for the second meet in a row.
