Men's Cross Country Places 24th At Notre Dame Invitational

Notre Dame, Ind. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami men’s cross country team placed 24th at the 50th Annual Notre Dame Invitational held Friday night at the Notre Dame Golf Course in Notre Dame, Ind.

The NCAA Championship quality field included seven teams ranked in the Mondo NCAA Men’s Cross Country poll including No. 1 ranked Wisconsin, sixth-ranked Notre Dame, seventh-ranked Arizona, 14th-ranked Michigan, 18th-ranked Florida State, 26th-ranked Colorado State and 30th-ranked Butler.

Miami, ranked 11th in the South Region, was led by junior Tom Berry (Stamford, Conn.) who completed the five mile course in a time of 25:43 to place 115th.

Miami returns to action on Saturday, October 8 at the Disney Cross Country Classic in Orlando, Fla.
