Men's Cross Country Travels To Notre Dame Invitational

Coral Gables, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami men’s cross country team returns to action Friday, September 30 at the Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Ind.
The 25-team field boasts seven teams ranked in the Mondo NCAA Men’s Cross Country poll including No. 1 ranked Wisconsin. Miami, which is ranked 11th in the South Region by the United States Cross Country Coaches Association, will also battle sixth-ranked Notre Dame, seventh-ranked Arizona, 14th-ranked Michigan, 18th-ranked Florida State, 26th-ranked Colorado State and 30th-ranked Butler.
Miami, which has not competed since September 9th, opened the season in impressive fashion recording a win at the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish Invitational (Sept. 3) followed by a runner-up finish at the Gator Invitational (Sept. 9).
The men’s five mile race is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. and will be held at the Notre Dame Golf Course.
