Weintraub Tied For 18th After First Round

Tusdaloosa, Ala. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami sophomore Hagen Weintraub (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) fired an opening round 77 and is in a tie for 18th at the Alabama-Ann Rhoads Intercollegiate Golf Championship in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

As a team the Hurricanes shot a first round 316 and is in 10th-place. Augusta State fired and opening round 297 and leads host Alabama (298) by one stroke. Taryn Durham (Middle Tennessee State) shot a 69 on Sunday to take the first round lead.

Second round action is scheduled for Monday with the final round set for Tuesday.
