Hornor Leads Miami at Sailfish Invitational

West Palm Beach, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – Freshman Melissa Hornor (Columbus, Ohio) placed fifth in a time of 19:28 to lead the University of Miami women’s cross country team to a third-place finish at the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish Invitational in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Also running well for the Hurricanes was sophomore DeeDee Phlatts (Silver Springs, Md.) finished sixth in a time of 19:31.

Miami returns to action on Friday, September 9th at the Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla.
