Rich Places 17th In 3000-Meter Steeplechase

Tallahassee, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami freshman Louis Rich, Jr. placed 17th in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:57.98 to highlight Friday’s action at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Tallahassee, Fla.

Competition at the ACC Championships concludes Saturday. In action for the Hurricanes will be senior Chris Centrich and freshman Casey McGinn in the pole vault, sophomore Zach Castiglione, sophomore Jon Scheiner and sophomore Seth Kampf in the 5000-meters, the 4×400-meter relay and the 4×100-meter relay.
