Tech reliever Adam Redd spelled Bowers prior to the start of the fifth inning.

UM evened the score in sixth. Braun was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning and advanced to third on a bloop single to center by Jay. Brendan Katin singled to bring in Braun. Roger Tomas put the score at 4-4 on a single to right field to score Jay.
