Hurricanes Conclude Action at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – University of Miami freshman diver Jenna Dreyer earned All-American Honorable Mention honors for the second time in as many days when she finished 14th on the 10-meter platform on the final day of the NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships in the Boilermaker Aquatic Center at Purdue University Saturday afternoon.<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>
Dreyer, who earned First Team All-American honors on the one-meter Thursday and All-American Honorable Mention honors on the three-meter Friday, scored a 385.20 on the platform to close out the three-day meet.
Sophomore Heather Bounds finished 20th after posting a score of 358.15.
Indiana’s Cassandra Cardinell claimed first place with a final score of 501.45.
