Jenna Dreyer Earns All-America Honors on One-Meter

<?xml:namespace prefix=”st1″ ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”?>WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – University of Miami freshman diver Jenna Dreyer earned All-America honors when she finished sixth on the one-meter springboard with a score of 302.65 at the NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships in the BoilermakerAquaticCenter on the campus of PurdueUniversity Thursday evening.<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>
Dreyer was seeded fourth heading into the finals after turning in a score of 300.85 in the morning’s preliminaries. Hawaii’s Qiong Jie Huang took home the title with a final score of 327.00.
Dreyer will resume action at the NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving championships Friday morning with the preliminaries of the three-meter springboard competition.
