Hurricanes Open ACC Action against Virginia

Coral Gables, Fla. – The University of Miami swimming and diving team will make their ACC debut when they travel to Charlottesville, Va. to take on the University of Virginia Friday at 6:00 pm at UVa’s Aquatic and Fitness Center.
The meet will mark the first time that the Hurricanes (1-0, 0-0 ACC) will take to the pool as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The Hurricanes are fresh off a 97-80 season opening win over cross-town rival FIU on October 16th. Miami saw impressive performances by freshmen swimmers Lauren Shue, Taylor McFarlane and freshman diver Jenna Dreyer. Senior Katalin Ferenczi picked up where she left off last season will solid races in the backstroke and individual medley events.
