UM Fall Classic Morning Results

Coral Gables, Fla. – The morning session of the UM Fall Classic concluded Saturday with four Miami players picking up wins in singles. Singles will resume at 3:00 pm at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
The 28th ranked tandem of Megan Bradley and Audrey Banada defeated Florida’s Alex Liles and Boglarka Berecz 8-6 while Melissa Applebaum and Caren Seenauth overtook FAU’s Alena Dvorakova/Krystel Borg duo, 8-4. Emily Mowery and Staci Stevens downed FAU’s Katherine Bartnick and Pia Terol, 8-4.
In singles Bradley defeated Vanderbilt’s Amanda Fish 6-4, 7-5. Mowery overcame Ashley Schellhas (Vanderbilt)1-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-8) while Juliette Mavroleon defeated Caroline Ferrell (Vanderbilt)6-2, 6-1. Seenauth overtook Vanderbilt’s Julie Martin 6-2, 6-2 to end singles play for the morning.
