Bradley Advances to Round of 16 at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships

Pacific Palisades, Calif. – No. 2 Megan Bradley advanced to the Round of 16 in the main draw of the 2004 Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships in the Riviera Tennis Club Thursday afternoon.
The second seeded Bradley defeated Tulane’s Nancy Kockott, 6-0, 6-4, to advance to Friday’s Round of 16. Kockott won a berth to the main draw in the qualifying round.
Bradley will face UCLA’s Daniela Bercek Friday afternoon. Bercek, who advanced to the main draw through the qualifying round, was ranked 10th in the ITA preseason rankings and is the defending NCAA champion in doubles. The winner of the match will move onto the quarter finals that will take place Friday afternoon.
