Women's Golf 12th At East Regional

Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami women’s golf recorded a score of 310 on Friday and is 12th with a two-round total of 619 at the NCAA East Regional Golf Championship at the Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort in Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla.
The top eight teams and next two individuals advance to the NCAA Championship Finals, May 18-21, in Auburn, Alabama. Furman is currently in eighth with a two round score of 612.
Miami, which entered the Regional Championship as the 17th seed, was led by junior Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) who recorded an even-par 72 on Friday. Miller moved up eight spots and is currently tied for 11th with a two-day total of 147.
Final round action begins Saturday at 8:00 a.m.
