Cohen, Hechtman and Purcell Earn BIG EAST Honors

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-University of Miami men’s tennis freshman Josh Cohen (Weston, Fla.) and sophomores Eric Hechtman (Miami, Fla.) and Colin Purcell (Louisville, Ky.)were named to the 2004 BIG EAST All-Tournament team.
Cohen earned All-Tournamnet accolades in singles play, going 1-1 at the BIG EAST Tournament and posted a 13-4 record at No. 1 singles this season. He went 21-9 overall in his freshman campaign.
Hechtman and Purcell were tabbed to the All-Tournament team for doubles play after leading UM to a third place finish at the 2004 tournament.
The Hurricanes wrapped up the season with a 14-8 overall record.
