CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The 33rd-ranked University of Miami men’s tennis team seeks to improve on an undefeated 7-0 start Wednesday evening, hosting in-state foe Central Florida at 6 p.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.

Miami is unmarked in dual action this season after upending BIG EAST foe No. 43 Notre Dame, 5-2 and Western Michigan, 7-0 last weekend in South Bend, Ind.

The Hurricanes are 4-0 all-time against UCF (5-7) while going 4-0 against opponents from the state of Florida in 2004.

UM freshman Josh Cohen and sophomore Eric Hechtman will pace the Hurricanes against the Golden Knights in singles play. The Miami teammates are undefeated in dual play this season, each posting a 7-0 record.

Wednesday’s match is slated for 6 p.m. Admission is free.
