Miami Takes to the Road for Double Slate

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The 33rd-ranked University of Miami men’s tennis team will head to South Bend, Ind. this weekend to take on Western Michigan and BIG EAST rival Notre Dame.
The Hurricanes will try to improve on an impressive 5-0 start to the 2004 season, facing WMU Saturday at 10 a.m. and will take on the Irish Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
Miami will look to the play of freshman Josh Cohen and sophomore Eric Hechtman over the weekend. Cohen is undefeated in dual play this season at 5-0 in the No. 1 singles spot while Hechtman has posted a record of 4-0 playing in the No. 4 slot.
