UM Golfers Finish Second At Hatter Fall Classic

Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami women’s golf team fired a final round 313 and finished second at the Hatter Fall Classic in Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla.

Miami, which recorded a three-day total of 950 (319-318-313), finished one-stroke behind team champion South Florida (321-314-314-949).

The Hurricanes had four golfers finish in the top-20 individually including Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) who was sixth with a score of 233 (74-80-79). Seniors Camilla Hilland (Lommedalen, Norway) and Jazmin Cataldo (Asuncion, Paraguay) both finished in a tie for 13th with scores of 238, while freshman Tiffany Prats (Williston, Fla.) took 20th with a three-day total of 241.

Miami concludes its fall schedule November 3-4 at the Pine Needles Collegiate in Pinehurst, N.C.
