Audrey Banada Claims 'B' Singles Title

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-Miami freshman Audrey Banada (North Miami Beach, Fla.) won five singles matches in a row to claim the ‘B’ singles bracket title at the 2003 ITA Southern Regional Championships hosted by the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga.

Banada beat Alina Mihaliescu of Florida State in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 Monday morning to claim the title.

Banada improves to 7-1 on the fall season.
