UM's Miller Leads Hatter Fall Classic

Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami junior Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) recorded an opening-round 74 and has a one-stroke lead heading into the second round of the 2003 Hatter Fall Classic in Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla.
Miller has already won two of the first three tournaments this season and is attempting to become the first UM golfer since Tracy Kerdyk in 1988 to win three or more individual titles in one season.
As a team the Hurricanes shot 319 and are in third place. Rollins College leads the tournament after firing a first round 312. Florida Southern is second at 318.
Second round action is scheduled for Monday morning. The third and final round will take place on Tuesday.
