Men's Tennis Falls At All-American

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-Miami doubles team of Tim Krebs and Colin Purcell fell in the opening round of the main draw at the Icy Hot ITA All-American Championships in Chattanooga, Tenn.

The duo won five matches in a row before falling to No. 6-ranked Hector Almada and Sergei Modoc of Fresno State 8-2 Thursday afternoon.

Krebs (Eschborn, Germany) and Purcell (Louisville, Ky.) are 8-3 on the fall season.

The Hurricanes return to action Oct. 16 in Memphis, Tenn. at the Regional Championships.
