Men's Tennis Doubles Advances At All-American

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-Tim Krebs and Colin Purcell advance to the main draw of the Icy Hot ITA All-American Championships in Chattanooga, Tenn. after winning their fifth match in a row Wednesday afternoon.

Krebs (Eschborn, Germany) and Purcell (Louisville, Ky.) beat Jose Luis Muguruza and Scott Schnugg of Georgia Tech 9-7. They are one of eight doubles teams that advance to the main bracket.

Krebs and Purcell face Hector Almada and Sergei Modoc of Fresno State at 3 p.m.

The duo improve to 8-2 on the fall season.
