Hilland Third After Opening Round

Lexington, KY (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami senior Camilla Hilland (Lommedalen, Norway) fired an opening round 75 and is in a tie for third at the Wildcat Fall Classic in Lexington, KY.

UM junior Tina Miller, ranked 14th in the nation, recorded 79 on Friday and is tied for 17th. Kentucky’s Marissa Muir opened with a 73 to take the first round individual lead.As a team the Hurricanes, who are ranked 19th in the nation, registered a 319 and are in seventh-place, 10 strokes behind seventh-ranked Mississippi State who recorded a first-round total of 309.

Second-round action begins Saturday at 9 a.m. with the third and final round taking place on Sunday.
