Miller Finishes 26th At NCAA Regional

Winston-Salem, NC (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami sophomore Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) recorded a final-round 74 to finish in a tie for 26th with a three-day total of 221 (75-72-74) at the NCAA Women’s East Regional Golf Championship at Salem Glen Country Club in Winston-Salem, NC.
Brandi Jackson of Furman won the individual competition with a three-day total of 205 (68-71-66). Duke won the team title with a score of 857 (288-286-283).
The top eight teams and next two individuals advance to the NCAA Championship finals, May 20-23, at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, IN.
The eight teams advancing to the NCAA finals include Duke, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Arizona, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida State. The two individuals moving on include Jackson and Katie Futcher of Penn State who finished tied for third overall with a score of 211 (74-68-68).
