Miller Fourth At BIG EAST Championships

Notre Dame, IN (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami sophomore Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) fired a two-round total of 155 (76-79) and is fourth-place, three-strokes out of the lead, heading into Tuesday’s final round of the BIG EAST Women’s Golf Championships in Notre Dame, IN.
Katie Brophy (Notre Dame) leads the individual competition after posting a two-round total of 152 (77-75). Miller along with Brophy and Notre Dame’s Karen Lotta were the only players to post both rounds in the 70’s.
Lotta (75-79-154) and teammate Shannon Byrne (82-72-154) are tied for second.
As a team the Hurricanes posted a two-round total of 661 and are in second-place behind second-round leader Notre Dame (617).
The championship’s final round will begin Tuesday at 8 a.m. (CT).
