This photo of Sargeant. Manuel Pallango was recently sent to www.hurricanesports.com from his sister-in law Lori Pallango. Sgt. Pallango was sent to Jordan in January.

According to Lori, “Manny is a huge Hurricane fan and football season ticket holder.” Best wishes to Sgt. Pallango and his family!

Joe Wall, KC-10 pilot currently based in Al-Dhafra, United Arab Emirates

Joe Wall was a four-year letterman as a member of the Hurricanes’ track and field team from 1997-2000. Wall competed in several throwing events including the indoor 35-pound weight throw, as well as the outdoor hammer, javelin, discus and shot put. He still owns the school-record in the 35-pound weight throw which he set on January 22, 1999 with a toss of 14.65 meters (48-00.75).
