Cane Aquatics To Host Swim Camp

The University of Miami swimming coach James Sweeney and diving coach Randy Ableman will host an aquatic sports camp beginning June 9 at the newly renovated Norman Whitten Pool on the Coral Gables campus.

The camp will run for seven one-week sessions from June 9 through July 25 from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Before and after care will be provided from 8 to 9 a.m. and from 4:15 to 6 p.m.

Thursday will be “Olympic Day,” upon which campers will compete in either diving or trampoline and swimming. Individual and team awards will be given to campers. Friday is “Fun Day” and campers will be permitted to play aquatic games in the morning.

The cost for the camp is $160.00 per week with an added fee for before and after care.
