UM Golfers 13th At SunTrust Invitational

Gainesville, FL (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami women’s golf team posted a two-round total of 629 and is in a tie for 13th-place heading into the final round of the SunTrust Lady Gator Invitational in Gainesville, FL.
Teams were forced to play two rounds on Monday after inclement weather postponed play on Sunday.
Miami struggled during the morning session and was in 15th-place after recording an opening round 326. The Hurricanes fired a 303 during the afternoon round to move into a 13th-place tie with Louisville.
Sophomore Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) leads all Hurricanes and is in tied for 32nd after recording a two-round total of 152 (79-73-152). Junior Camilla Hilland (Lommedalen, Norway) is tied for 40th (80-74-154).
The final round is scheduled to start Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m.
