Miami Basketball: It All Comes Down To...

After last night’s road victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies, the Hurricanes control their own destiny to the BIG EAST Basketball Tournament. With a victory over the Red Storm this Saturday, the Hurricanes will guarantee a spot in the BIG EAST Tournament beginning March 12th at Madison Square Garden.

The Hurricanes could also secure a 5th seed if St. John’s loses tonight to Rutgers and the ‘Canes beat them on Saturday night at 9:00pm.

Should the ‘Canes lose on Saturday and Virginia Tech loses to West Virginia at 2:00pm on Saturday, they will ‘back door’ their way into the BIG EAST Tournament.

The Hurricanes and St. John’s in another classic BIG EAST match-up – Saturday, March 8th at 9:00pm. Get your seats to the last home game for James Jones, Michael Simmons, Paulo Coelho, and Rafael Berumen.
