No. 21 Women's Tennis Hosts FIU

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The No. 21-ranked Miami women’s tennis team is set to host cross-town rival Florida International Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center on the UM campus.

The Hurricanes enter the contest 5-2, while the Panthers are 3-6 on the season.

Miami leads the all-time series 13-1 over FIU.

Three Miami players are ranked in the ITA Tennis Top-100. Freshman Melissa Applebaum is ranked No. 77, sophomore Megan Bradley is No. 87 and junior Mari Toro is No. 94.

Seniors Igna deVilliers and Abby Smith are ranked No. 52 in doubles action.
