Women's Tennis Hosts FAU

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The No. 24-ranked Miami women’s tennis team plays host to No. 75 Florida Atlantic Friday at 4 p.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.

The Hurricanes (1-0) opened the season with a 6-1 win over No. 45 Illinois on Jan. 18.

The Owls are 2-1 overall after knocking off then-ranked No. 74 South Florida 6-1 Sunday afternoon.

Miami leads the all-time series 18-0.

The Hurricanes look to extend their home-winning streak to 12 after winning all 10 home matches last season.

Megan Bradley, Mari Toro, Staci Stevens, Melissa Applebaum and Sara Robbins are all 1-0 on the season with straight set wins over Illinois.
