Stockbridge, GA (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami junior Camilla Hilland (Lommedalen, Norway) fired a second-round two-under-par 70 to take a three-stroke lead heading into the final round of the John Kirk/Lady Panther Intercollegiate being held at Eagles Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, GA.

Hilland (69-70-139), ranked 18th in the nation and looking to record her second career tournament victory, leads teammate Jazmin Cataldo (Asuncion, Paraguay) and Augusta State’s Leah Hart who are tied for second with two-day totals of 142. Cataldo, who was tied for the first round lead after recording an opening-round 69, shot 73 on Tuesday to fall three-stoked back. Hart posted a second- round 72 after recording an opening-round 70.

As a team the Hurricanes recorded a 296 on Tuesday to move into first place (299-296-595), one stroke ahead of Western Carolina (292-304-596). Southern Mississippi is third (300-302-602). Miami is attempting to win its first team title since the fall of 1998 when it finished first at the Pat Bradley Invitational.

Final round action will begin Wednesday at 7:40 a.m.
