Cross Country Ranks Eighth

Coral Gables, FL (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami men’s cross country team is ranked eighth in the South Region in the latest poll released by the United States Cross Country Coaches Association.
Miami, which moved up two spots to No. 8 last week, did not compete this weekend..
Led by senior Dan Boniface (Seattle, WA) and junior Matt Mulvaney (South Hadley, MA) the Hurricanes have recorded two top-five finishes in the season’s first three events including a victory at the UCF Invitational to start the season and most recently a fifth-place finish at the Gator Invitational on Oct. 5.
Boniface opened the season with a bang recording his first career victory at the UCF Invitational, while Mulvaney has been the Hurricanes’ top finisher in the last two meets including a 10th-place finish at the Gator Invitational.
The Hurricanes return to action on October 19 when they host Florida Atlantic and Florida International in a tri-meet beginning at 7:45 a.m. on the Coral Gables Campus. Admission is free.
