A Note from the Czar:
If you haven’t heard yet, the Convo Center has already helped to improveHurricane basketball’s place in the National spotlight!. At least 5 ofthe 9 home games that will be played at the Convocation Center havealready been scheduled to be televised nationally. That is 56% of thegames played on UM’s campus! ESPN is airing 4 games, including theinaugural game, and CBS has picked up the game against Syracuse. We knowadmissions will be happy with this extra PR!

If you haven’t checked out the Convocation Center page onwww.hurricanesports.com lately, I would log on right away! We have addedsome new things to it, making it more interactive for our fans! We have anew color coded seat diagram indicating the different sections: PremiumSeats, Students, Reserved Employees, Kosar’s Kids and those sectionsalready sold out. The best part of this new diagram is that if you clickon a section, a new page will pop up showing which seats have been soldand which ones are still available, as well as a picture showing the viewfrom various site lines to center court! And of course, we still havethat neat Flash intro with the fight song! Go Canes!
Reserved Employee seats going fast!
If you are a full-time employee of the University of Miami and you havenot yet purchased your specially priced Reserved Employee basketballtickets, you better do so….soon! There are 2 sections designated asReserved Employee sections (107 and 108). After only a few weeks, section108 has sold out and there are less than 200 seats remaining in section107! Remember, UM employees are limited to only 4 season tickets at thespecial price.

Distance from Row FF (32nd and last row) to the court: 94 feet! (Wowthat is close)Distance from Row Q (15th row) to the court: 50 feet!Added 2 more public restrooms for a total of 17!
