Hilland Leads State Championship Heading Into Final Round

Miami Lakes, FL (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami sophomore Camilla Hilland (Lommedalen, Norway) recorded her second consecutive 2-under-par 70 and leads the Ryder/Florida Women’s Collegiate Golf Championship by five strokes heading into Sunday’s final round.
Hilland (70-70-140), who has recorded five top-10’s in eight events this season, is attempting to become the first Hurricane since Tracy Kerdyk in 1988 to win the state championship. She is currently the only player under-par for the tournament.
Florida State’s Alison Zimmer (73-72-145) is in second-place, while Kristin Tamulis of FSU (71-75-146) and Jessica Polus of Florida Atlantic (69-77-146) are tied for third.
Florida State (293-300-593) leads the team competition by six-strokes over defending champion Florida (305-294-599). Miami (311-301-612) and South Florida (309-303-612) are tied for third.
Final round action will begin Sunday at 8:30 a.m. at Don Shulas Hotel and Golf Club in Miami Lakes, FL. Admission is free.
