Women's Golf Is Tied For First In The Opening Round of Lady MOC Classic.

Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami women’s golf team fired a score of 310 and is in a tie for first place in the opening round of the Lady MOC Classic in Lakeland, Fla.
Three Hurricanes finished the day in the top 10, led by sophomore Jazmin Cataldo (Asuncion, Paraguay), who is tied for second place after shooting 74. Cataldo is only two strokes out of the lead.
Freshman Christina Miller (Miami, Fla.) finished the opening round tied for fifth place after shooting 76. Sophomore Camilla Hilland (Lommedalen, Norway) is tied for seventh place (77).
Michele Miller (Dover, MA) shot an 83 for the day, while Ava Lee ( Miami, Fla.) recorded an 84.
The Hurricanes return to action tomorrow Saturday, Mar. 2 for the second round of the Lady MOC Classic.
