No. 18 Men's Tennis Travels To Face No. 54 FSU

Coral Gables, Fla. –The No. 18 University of Miami men’s tennis team will face No. 54 Florida State on Saturday, February 9 at 2 p.m. in Tallahassee, Fla.

The Hurricanes (1-1) are coming off an upset victory over No. 17 South Alabama last weekend.

The Hurricanes were down 3-0, but consecutive wins by Tomas Smid, Jose Lieberman, Todd Widom and Andrew Golub sealed a 4-3 victory for Miami.

The Hurricanes opened the season with a 4-3 loss to No. 48 Florida Atlantic.

The Seminoles (4-0) are coming off back-to-back match wins over UCF and Georgia Southern last Saturday. They beat the Golden Knights, 5-2, in an 11:00 a.m. match and then defeated Georgia Southern, 6-1, at 4:00 p.m.
